Well I'm planning on ordering sometime this weekend, and would love a little feedback on my choices. I'm trying to stay around the 700 dollar mark but I'm willing to up the price a little bit if needed. Here's what I have so far.

Motherboard- This is the one place I'm stuck. I was all set to go with the GA-EP35-DS3L, but then It seems like the EP43 just got released. The added features are very tempting for 10 extra bucks, but I can't find any reviews yet.

or

CPU- The 7200 just seems to amazing to pass up at that price. Looks like it overclocks like a beast.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115052 $131.99

RAM- 4 gigs for a good price. A-data seems like a decent brand.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115052 $84.99

Video Card- Good price on an EVGA 8800 GT

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130357 $159.99

PSU- read good things on this Antec, and I don't plan on SLI so I shouldn't need a huge PSU right?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371007 $59.99

Case- I'm skimping here, but I don't need anything fancy and this one wasn't bad looking.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147075 $25.99

CPU Fan- This one seems highly recommended.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134 $26.99

Hard Drive- Skimping a bit here to, but 250GB should be enough for now. I can always add another later.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148261 $57.99

My two real concerns are the MoBo choice, and any potential conflicts I might be missing. I'd also love any input on any tweaks I could make to bring the price down, or worthwhile upgrades even if it ups the price slightly. Thanks in advance everyone.

mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

Spend $2 and get the HD with 16MB cache vs the one you chose with 8MB cache. It's well worth the extra $2.

That vid card you chose is having major heat issues even after cranking up the fan speed on it with Riva Tuner according to the reviews on newegg. That right there says stay away from it. The vid card I put in the above link is not only factory overclocked, but it has the best stock cooling system for a 8800GT atm.

The mushkin memory not only has great timings and excellent heatspreaders, but it's cheap atm.

Any pointers picking between the motherboards? I'm leaning towards the P43 now, but I'm not sure.

Why not that case? I know it's a cheap one, but is it going to hurt the system in anyway? It seemed like a good place to keep the cost down.

The case is fine if you want to be cheap, but you probably will run in to not having enough space on that. Why not get this case?:

Not the best but, imo. is better quality (not many sharp edges, etc) than a Rosewill. I use this on my DS3L build.

I strongly recommend you wait until July to build, as the release of the new GPUs should drive prices down, it will also let the manufactures work out any problems on the new P4x (ie P45/43) boards.

Yea, I've decided to try and hold out till the end of the month. Then I'll either pay a bit more for a 4850, or buy a reduced price 8800 GT. We'll see how good the 4850 actualy is. Thanks for the pointers everyone. Helped me tweak the build a bit for the better.
