I'm just looking for a second opinion on a quality case, it doesnt need to be super fancy, but preferably something cool and quiet. with a price range of around $80.00 +/-

right now im looking at the cooler master RC-690 (85$)

on a side note...
im getting a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle cooler for an Intel Q6600 which as ive been advised needs a lil room

dont worry, it will fit
I have this case and I know what I'm talking about.
This case can fit my Tuniq Tower with no problems.
Also, it fits an AC Accelero S1R2 with the fan still mounted on the side pannel.
The stock fans are not dead silent, but they are ok. Airflow is great, with a lot of space for a liquid cooling solution too.

Good choice, the CM 690 is a great case.

It will fit. I found a Newegg review for that case that mentions there's a Xigmatek S1283 in it.

And yes, that's the best case I can think of in that price range.
