US, UK and Euro prices for GF 9800 GTX

I read somewhere that Nvidia have lowered the price of the GF 9800 GTX, but I can still see it for sale at 180 UK pounds which is precisely $360 so am a bit sceptical.

It should start coming down in price when the 9800GTX+ comes out.

But why would anyone spend $360 on a 9800 GTX when they can have the 4850 for $250 ?
