I have my computer in my living room and I have a Hercules MP3 mixer. It is connected via USB. As opposed to having a 10ft USB cord running from the mixer to the computer I was wondering if they make wireless USB cables?

They have wireless keyboards and mice. Do they have wireless USB cables that you could use for anything USB?

Or

Does a USB to bluetooth adapter exist? I could get a bluetooth card for my computer and then plug the adapter into the mixer.

Thanks,
JOe K.

I think you're out of luck on this one. Wireless USB is coming, but it ain't here yet.

There are USB Bluetooth dongles, but I'm not sure if a pair of those would work for you. RTFM on the mixer and see if it has information on using a wireless connection.

I RTFM and it did not leave a conclusive answer on whether or not it would require a wired connection.

Beyond the mixer, could 2 bluetooth adapters work for eliminating a USB cable?

Yes You can connect two PC's using USB Bluetooth dongles. Pretty much like network. Not sure about Your mixer. You would also need some soft to do that. If Your mixer did not come with software to do that and bluetooth is not mentioned anywhere in documentation that it will not be easy if possible at all.
