Does anyone know if the Antec P182 can comfortably hold AND cool two 4850s in CrossfireX as well as a stock cooler 9950BE?

Here are the system specs:

OCZ EvoStream 720
MSI K9A2 Platinum
AMD Phenom 9950 Black Edition (Stock cooler)
2x Sapphire 4850
4GB 1066MHz G.Skill RAM
750GB Seagate 7200RPM HDD
Lite-On DVD Burner

The PSU is also rectangular and slightly long. How will that fit?

It's the same size as my P180, and mine holds my two 8800 GTS 640's very comfortably. It also has plenty of room for my TT Big Typhoon cpu cooler. You shouldn't have a problem at all.

You may have to remove the middle drive bay. I have a P182SE and have a single 8800GTX in there but had to remove the drive bay.

Yeah, but the HD 4850 is only 9.5" long and the 8800GTX is almost 11".

Either way, he's only got one disk, he can live without that middle drive bay.

Yeah that's why I said may. ;) I figure the 4850 might just be short enough to fit.

Okay, so assuming it fits, how about the cooling? Also, my power supply is rectangular and slightly longer I believe than the average ATX PSU, so how will that fit?

I have a Zerotherm Nirvana NV120 in mine with room to spare. I assume the stock 9950 cooler is a lot smaller than that.

Your PSU is about the same size as my Silencer 610, which is also long and rectangular. It will fit just fine.

Cooling is great. My case temp never goes above the ambient temp. I'd recommend adding a 120mm fan to the middle drive cage to push some cool air over the vid cards. The fan bracket is included and it fit perfectly with my reference-sized 4850. Even if it doesn't fit, you can remove the middle drive cage and attach the fan directly to the front. I used one of these:

Adds quite a bit of airflow. It can get loud at full speed, but thats what the speed controller is for :)

My stock 4850 never gets above 80C and my q9450 sits at 56-58C running prime95

The Antec P182 is a great case. With the power supply mounting at the bottom, you'll have room for the longer PS. Running cables on that case is great as well - hide them all behind the motherboard, with many openings to get them to the drives and cards.

Is that fan in the lower portion of the case by the PSU really necessary? Can I move it by the HD bay to cool the GPUs or should it stay where it is?

Id leave it where is is and add the 2 additional ones at front and middle inline with the gpu's for more air flow. The lower fan will help with hard drive and psu cooling.

So you mean leaving out the top exhaust fan?

Anyone know how to mount a 120mm fan on the lower front HDD bay for this case. There seems to be a metal frame and I can't remove it.
