Which would be better?
I'm not Overclocking right now, but I may in the future, and I just want my tempertures lower in general.
I'm getting about 35-40C Idle 50-60C at load with an AMD Phenom 9650.
Stock cooled.
I've got and Exhaust fan on the side of my case nearly parallel to the CPU, and I move my case about once every two weeks to go to my Mum's house.
So I'm only looking at relatively light HSF's.
I heard the Shuriken is nice, and I can't really find any bad reviews for it.
The ISGC has a decent rating on newegg, and my google-fu is weak so I can't find more than three of four reviews for it, total.
The Silverstone is the most expensive, and It's fanless stock, again, I suck at finding reviews.
There is an archive with over 400 reviews. Use the search feature at the top left of the screen. Do a search for Scythe and a list of reviews will pop up. Same thing for Thermaltake. Doesn't look like there are any reviews of Silverstone cpu heatsinks.
Right.
Thanks for the link.
I've read the Shuriken review, and frostytech doesn't seem to have one for the ISGC.
Searching "Thermaltake" yielded nothing.
Though I just spent some more time and it seems a ISGC review has popped up since I last checked.
Hmmm....I got the Thermaltake list of reviews with no problem but the model you are interested in is not listed. That happens sometimes. Silverstone is the one that comes up blank for me.
