hello to all

i have GiGABYTE GA-945PL-S3P motherboard in it's specification is wroted about memory as follow

1. 4 DDR II DIMM memory slots (supports up to 2GB memory)
2. Supports 1.8V DDR II DIMM
3. Supports dual channel DDR II 667/533/400 DIMM

my question is that whether every this motherboard slot supports up to 2GB memory or this motherboard
altogether supports 2GB memory?

in other word , can i increase my memory up to 4GB (at present i have 2GB)?

thanks

It looks to me like it supports up to 2GB, not 4. That's a little surprising since it supports newer CPUs and has 4 memory slots. I didn't think too many people used 512 sticks anymore.

I would guess that it would support up to 8gb and meant it supports up to 2gb DIMMs x 4.
