what is the best ram for the ASUS Striker II Formula

I have been looking around newegg says ddr2 1066 but it says that it can go up to 1333 on the front side bus. the question then is A) do they make DDR2 ram that is faster then 1066 and if not B) dose the board support DDR3? dose not say it dose on the stat sheet so my thinking is no.

the ram that I have in mide is either

sugestions and any help is given much thanks

You do not need 1066 unless you are overclocking by a good bit.

It does not support DDR3, and it would be a waste if it did.

Your DDR2 should match your FSB if possible. So, say you are running an E8400... That runs on a 333Mhz FSB at stock speeds.

Your RAM is Double Data Rate (DDR) so it ideally would run at 667Mhz in that case.

If you overclocked your CPU, and the FSB was now 400, the RAM would be set to 800Mhz. If you overclocked even farther, then you would need the 1066 you have.
