Greetings guys! I have a problem with the PC i built. First lemme give you the specs:

Intel Q9300 2.5Ghz
Rosewill 2-Ball Heatsink/Fan
Asus P5N-D 750i
2x 2Gig Corsair XMS2
Seagate Barracuda 250gig SATA
750w Thermaltake Toughpower
2x 8800 GT 512mb

ok so heres the problem, I put everything in but when i try to boot it up, nothing shows up on the screen. Not even the memory test. I tried using only 1 EVGA and 1 RAM but the results are still the same. I tried removing all the RAM but when I did there wasn't any error sound coming from the board. Thnx for the replies guys!

Try using each RAM module by itself, with both graphics cards, it doesn't matter if they are both in unless the primary is DOA. Make sure your power is on the On position (the dash - ) Make sure everything has power, 4+4 pin, 20+4 pin, 6+2 pin for each 8800GT, check for enough amps on 12v rail(s) to meet requirements for 8800GT SLI. You don't get error messages without any RAM in it because your computer needs RAM to be able to turn on a work.

It could also be your power supply is DOA or isn't giving enough power if the error sound is real loud coming from your VGA card. Try 1 good card.

how does the 4/8 pin look like? coz the only connection i have from the PSU to the MOBO is the 24-pin connector..

Alright!!!!!!!!! Happy computing. LoL, thats the first case I ever saw with a PSU that should have the connector, not having it. I wish there was a Fry's where I live. Hell I wish there was any kind of tech store around here. I got to drive 100 miles to get to a tech store. Its cheaper for me to buy online.

Oh I just got another problem lol. When I start the the system, it always says " Unknown CPU. Update BIOS to unleash its full potential!". I did what the message said but when I tried to download the BIOS, it said the theres is no new BIOS for the board. I tried reseting the CMOS also but still got the same problem. Any solution for this guys?
