Your question

checked windows experience base score now have revo icons on desktop

February 13, 2013 2:11:21 AM

My vista 32 bit was running a bit slow so I tried the Windows Experience Base score under my Control panel-System maintenence. My score was 3.4 and then I clicked on "update my score". Nothing else appeared so I closed the window.

Then I noticed on my desktop a few new icons that I didn't download. One is Revo Uninstaller, Another one reads Install Revo Uninstaller, and a McAfee Security Scan Plus which I never purchased.
They all appeared after I clicked on Update My Score.

I don't know whether to delete them or not. I use Norton Internet Security 2013. I read about Revo but I am afraid to try it, as my computer is slow but it works!
Thank you for any help or advice .
