i have created an excel file. i have given power user permissions. then i want to modify those excel file. it doesn,t allow me. it shows an error. why? how to rectify this problem.

Exactly what error message does it show?

Right-click on the file, click propertries, and click the "security" tab. Check what permissions the files has and who owns it.
