I have an E8500 and a p45-ds3l motherboard which doesnt support wolfdales without updating bios first.

My question is, can i update the bios using the cpu thats not supported?? Hope you know what i mean.

Havent tried yet because im building a system for my friend and i dont have all parts yet.

Hell no. If a mobo can boot up with an unsupported cpu, why does the bios need to be flashed? Go pay a store for do it for you.
