Right I have an e8400 and P5Q Pro. I had a look around and most people seemed to think that safe PLL volts on a 45nm chip is in between 1.5v and 1.6v. Default and minimum for my mobo is 1.5. Asus has four levels for their volts.

Blue=1.5v-1.78v
Yellow=1.80v-2.00v
Purple=2.02v-2.2v
Red=2.22v-2.78

So blue should be safe right??? Is 1.78v a safe level for my chip? This mobo is really geared up for 45nm chips isn't it?? So are these settings from Asus safe??

At the moment i have it at 1.58v just to be safe. I appreciate any feedback:)

I would assume so. In any case, your PC will lock-up if you try to make your hardware do something it doesn't want to do. The safe PLL volt would depend on what processor you're using anyway.
