this is the board i ordered: ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard


when i build the computer, how do i install the stuff for the mobo? do i need a floppy drive or something?

could some1 please explain this process for me? thanks alot.

A MB CD will be enclosed. After you install your OS, install the MB drivers, utilities, etc. from that CD. You can go online to your MB's product page for updated drivers and utilities for your ASUS P5Q Pro. A floppy drive is needed for none of this.

so i should be fine if i install xp 64bit?? i wont have to worry about any compatibility issues or anythin? thanks again.

You only need a floppy if your going to install XP with RAID enabled. Just disable RAID and install it. If you don't mind doing a little work though you could install the system with RAID disabled, ghost it, build your raid array, and put the ghosted imaged back on there. Well install the RAID drivers before you ghost it ^_^.
