I'm looking to put together quality/reliable components for gaming purposes. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions? :)

Motherboard

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813188013
I'm undecided on the mobo, so if anyone has any advice, I'm all ears

CPU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115017
I'm pretty confident this is the cpu for me

Case

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811129154
The Antex P180 has a simple design with excellent airflow. Will my components fit?

GPU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130339
Very capable card for what's on the market now. Does EVGA still offer their 90 day exchange program if I wanted to upgrade to a newer card?

Power Supply

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817341001
Not much to say.

HDD

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822148309

Always had great experiences with Seagate product. 32 meg cache is very attractive.

RAM

DVDR

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827151171

Display

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824001273
Large widescreen viewing area, fast response time.

Sound Card

Audio Output

Not looking into anything high end, these should suffice.

Thanks again for taking the time to check out my parts, I appreciate any help I can get :sol:

not sure if you can hook up the speakers to the mobo without the sound card. most likley you can and loose the sound card.

nice monitor choice,

try finding something with cas 4 latency ram.

hard drive is awesome, but getting also teh non-enterprise verion is great too.

twice the space for ten dollars more. i think it's worth it. unless you run your comp 24/7 ,don't get enterprise drives.

don't suppose you want to wait couple of weeks for the 4850 ati cards. if you do, then don't get the nvidia chipset mobo. get the intel chipset, so you can do crossfire.

your psu is engough for gtx, but i doubt that you can sli two cards on this psu. if you get let's say two 4850, that this would be suffcient. try the 700watt psu from ocz just to be on safe side.

I would recommend the WD 640GB, its faster than the Seagate 500 (7200.11), and more space.

Yes eVGA still offers a step-up program. So does BFG.

I doubt you're looking for Triple SLI, with that case/PSU/monitor. Therefore the 9800GTX is a waste, and the 8800GTS 512MB is just as good and cheaper.

If you want a single video card get a GA-EP35-DS3R MB. If you want two video cards get the 680i MB and this PSU:
