Why do I lose Flash when restarting my pc?

I had a Ransomware virus which infected my PC so I restarted in safe mode and put my PC back to a date before the infection. I then did a full scan with eset and every thing seemed fine.

However whenever I need to use a site which requires flash I am told I have to update my flash, which I do and it works until I turn of or reset my PC.

I have tried uninsalling flash with the flash uninstller which I ran as an admin and intalled a fresh flash 11, again I ran it as an admin and I still lose flash when I reset my PC. My Direct x is upto date and I have tried disableing my antivirus while i'm installing flash which makes no difference.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Try running a malwarebytes scan.

Then reinstall both browser and flash after this if your main problems are with getting flash working in the browser. If you use ie use firefox instead.

Thanks, I will try the scan. I have the same problem with both ie and firefox so changing the browser will make no difference
