Motherboard: ASUS Maximus Formula Republic of Gamers - Motherboard - ATX - iX38
Graphics: ASUS EN8800GT/G/HTDP - Grafikadapter - GF 8800 GT - PCI Express 2.0 x16 - 512 MB GDDR3 - Digital Visual Interface (DVI) ( HDCP ) - HDTV ud
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F1 500GB 16MB SATA2 7200RPM
Ram: Corsair XMS2 Xtreme Performance - 2 GB - DIMM 240-pin - DDR II - 800 MHz / PC2-6400 - CL5
Power supply: Corsair TX650W - Powersuply ( internal ) - ATX12V 2.01/ EPS12V 2.2 - AC 90-264 V - 650 Watt - aktiv PFC - Europa

It's not a bad build. I'd just replace the motherboard with something cheaper. For example this GA-EP35-DS3R costs half of that Maximus, and it's still enough.

BTW, I'm not endorsing that site, I just picked it because I assumed Grafikadapter is a Swedish word :) Shop around...

Upgrade the video card to 8800GTS 512MB, if the price difference is not too big.

Upgrade the HDD to WD6400AAKS or WD7500AAKS or Seagate 7200.11 (500GB or 750GB). They are more reliable brands.

If you haven't picked a case yet, look at this RC-690. http://komponentcenter.pccitybusin [...] did=691511

+1 for avem as usual. Ditch the motherboard. P45 is more than enough for builds now.

Crossfire Supported: Asus P5Q Pro $150
Normal: MSI Neo-F $100
