I recently purchased an Accelero Twin Turbo for my 4870 and I've seen many bad VRM reports. I was wondering if using the stock VRM/RAM sink and the Accelero together would suffice. I've heard of this working, but I also would like confirmation before spending too much.

You can always keep an eye on your GPU temps. If your current setup works well enough, then you know not spend additional money.
