Take ip from dhcp in xp

Hello,
friends....
I want to know whenever we connect our client machine with DHCP server.Afterthat we find the ip but which file play the role behind this.
i try to put some restriction between that before the value takes through the gateway....

The DHCP Client service works on the computer to get DHCP addresses. If you look at the properties of that it gives you a few dependancies as well.

Not sure what you can do with that info though, you may be asking for the wrong thing.

first thing is thanks to replying me..

and if comes on my query....

it was simply just if we make a project for LAN on (Internet Access System) the problem is that how can we put some restriction for window client before the get ip to Gateway....
