Hello,
i want to remove the reigion from my laptop as i am from england and have a lot of dvds and now my pc wont play them

You can't remove the region setting for your DVD drive, but you can change it up to a maximum of four changes - after which it can't be changed any more.

Control Panel > Device Manager

Double-click your DVD drive name.
Click the "DVD Region" tab.

To play DVDs purchased in the UK:

Scroll down to "United Kingdom" and click it once (left-click).
Region 2 should appear in the "New Region" box.
Click 'OK'

thanks phil i tried all what you said but this did not work it would not hold region 2 would love to get region 9
