Hello,

I have a Linksys adapter for Vonage, connected to a SMC Barricade Plus router. This router is connected to the Comcast modem. This setup works fine, all of my pcs can access the internet, Vonage works without any problem. Now, when I connect my work laptop, and use Cisco VPN, the laptop connects - I get the username/password prompt for the VPN client, I get connected, and I can connect to a system on the remote network for about 15 seconds, then the system freezes. If I do not have the Vonage adapter on, and connect using VPN on the laptop, everything works. But I cannot use Vonage and VPN at the same time. I've tried power cycling everything (cable modem, Vonage router, SMC router, and laptop) and connecting in different order (first VPN, then Vonage, etc).

I have talked with other people, including a neighbor that is using a different VOIP provider and a different VPN client, and he does not experience this problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Things I can check?

Thanks,
Gary
