I'm currently working on someone's Dell Dimension E310. I try to stay away from Dells, but it's nearly impossible since practically everyone has one. Anyway, my question is: this guy wants to upgrade from the current 512MB (2 x 256MB) to 1GB of ram. The problem is that when i ran cpuz on it to see the memory speed, it came up as pc2 4300. All I need to know is can i just put some ddr2 533 (pc2 4200) in this thing? Also, I've heard that dells are a bit finicky about getting new ram. Is there any truth to that? Thanks.
