Hi There,

Recently I burned some photos to a DVD before reformatting my computer.

When I put the DVD into a working computer, I can download all the photos and they all show the proper file size, however there are no thumbnails and when I try to open it in various programs I get errors like 'The file appears to be damaged or corrupted' in Photo Gallery or 'File format not supported' etc.

I thought it might have been a burning problem however the weird thing is that a few subfolders have photos that work!!

Any ideas on what may have caused the corruption of most of my photos and how I might be able to fix it? I would REALLY apprecate getting these photos back!!!!

Can you try copying all the files to your hard disk first?
