Mouse does not work with vista

Hello,
My laptop touchpad workd when in diagnosstics before Windows vista setup but doesnt work when vista is loaded. It then lists that code 39, the software is missing or corrupt. can anyone help me to be able to use the touchpad with Vista

Go to your laptop manufacturer's website and download the Windows Vista driver for the touchpad. You will need to know the full model name & number of your laptop.
