Please look at this from every angle as this will be my first build and could easily miss an obvious problem.

I plan on buying the back plate for the cpu cooler but newegg is out.
Also I will buy a 4850 when they come out and cross fire in about 3-6 months.

Please label your links! I am too damn lazy to click each one of those. I will this time though.

Push pins are a BITCH .

The PSU will be fine for 4850x2 which should be a killer setup. Considering 1 4850 is supposed to best 8800GT which is a great card, you might not even need 2 cards.

However you can save money on the motherboard by going to Asus P5Q Pro. You lose PCI-E 16x on both slots, but no current cards take advantage of that. The board is $149. So that saves you $30. Worth a look.

New P45 chipset, basically has all the advantages X38 did for overclocking.

The new ones will be fine. Nothing fully uses the 1.1 16x bandwidth. It will be years before anything saturates a 2.0 pipe.

Also remember PCI-E 2.0 x8 = PCI-E 1.1 16x. 2.0 has double the bandwidth.

Reason why is simple- not many people have PCI-E 2.0 motherboards. If you sold a card that saturated that bus- you cut the market you can sell to by 90%.
