Open Process File Location

When I try to open a process file location, it won't let me. Specifically, this is winlogon.exe.
I'm afraid it might have a virus, since my internet is running pretty slow and I haven't seen this process stay on the task list for as long as it is now.

Half sounds like an infection, but more detail would be needed to make that judgement, I would suggest having a peek at this and following these steps, at least then you would have ruled out if your error is virus related.

winlogon.exe is a system process for window logon, as long as you are logon, it will run on the background.

winlogon.exe is located at:

C:\Windows\System32

try access it

If you are opening winlogon.exe at another location, whether you can access the file or not, it is likely that is a virus.
