Intel 6550 CPU Help

i`v 6550 CPU and Asus P5K Main with 2x1 B Crucial Ballistix Ram
and i use windows vista SP1
my system is boot slowly(about 30 sec) and when desktop page is starting i`v wait about 10 or 15 sec for all start up programs run.i disable unnecessary programs in start up but i have the problem again.
sometime when i click on the programs for run its run after 4-5 sec. my CPU is usually idle. and i OC my CPU to 2.8 G Hz and CPU voltage is Auto
what gonna i should to do ?

I wouldn't call any of that slow to be honest... up to a minute for the system too boot up completely? Sluggish, but not slow by any stretch of the imagination, especially running Vista.

You never listed what hard drive you're running, it might be the bottleneck in your system.

Also invest in more RAM... Vista doesn't work that greatly on just 2 GB
