- I am currently trying to decide between the Asus M3N-HT Deluxe, Asus M3a32 - MVP Deluxe Wifi or the Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DS5 motherboard
- I will most likely be going with the 5000+ BE with the intent to upgrade down the road to an Amd quad core.
- For now I will be using my video card video card from my old computer which is a Geforce 7300
- Currently using Windows XP Pro and plan to upgrade to Vista at or after Christmas.
- I have not yet decided on what memory I'm going to go with, except that it will be 800mhz with the intent to upgrade to 1066 later if I upgrade to a quad core. So any suggestions on what memory to get are welcome as well.
AMD ALREADY cut 9550 & 9850 prices and is going to cut some others. I would so not get that overpriced board. Instead, I'd get one of these + 9550/9850:
It sounds like a good idea that I will look into. Not sure how much it will benefit me as I know nothing about overclocking. My plan WAS to go with more of a top quality board that seemed like it would be upgradeable down the road.
