No! SLI later is a terrible option. It is one of the worst upgrade paths you can find yourself on.

SLI is now or never. You don't even need SLI unless you game at resolutions of 1920x1200 or above anyway.

nVidia's Intel chipsets are not very good at all. They are bug ridden and generally best avoided.

You are going to pay $317 (Canadian I guess) for that motherboard which is really a waste.

Look at the superior P45 Intel chipset instead. Look at two motherboards:

MSI Neo-F
Asus P5Q Pro

Sli is a waste , The drivers are never supported and in most games you wont see the benefits, Wait a while for the ati4*** and the nvidia latest gpu which will make sli/crossfire redundant.

cheers

I just don't understand the SLi hate on this board. I can tell you from MY own experience that it does work.

My 2x9600GT was nearly as fast as my single 8800GTX.

The reason why you should Sli, Xfire now, is because of just that: later. You'll end up waiting, and in the mean time you are not taking advantage of that Sli or Xfire board you paid for. If you're just wasting time waiting for later, then why not just pick up a single PCIe mobo and spend money on a very fast video card.

Right now the best bang for the buck is 2 HD4850 in Xfire. As fast a a single GTX280, at nearly %40 the cost of a GTX280.
