i am thinking about getting one of the samsung 181 lcd monitors, but what should i get? the digital or analog? i will be using it with a geforce4 and mostly for gaming....

Digital would always be better. With analog interconnects, the signal would have to be converted from digital to analog on the video card, then analog to digital again on the LCD. I'm not an expert on this topic but commonsense suggests using analog connection would degrade the 'signal' quality.

A LCD with DVI adjusts the screen automatically. If you buy an 18" panel without a digital input you'll have big problems adjusting it by hand.
