im having a problem with my network. i have XP home and my roommate has 98. i tried to set up a network using the comp with XP. i set it up and then ran the disk on my roommates comp. he can see my comp, but i cant see his. any help would be appreciated.

yes he has folders shared

what do you need to see it for? Can you just map something explicitly, like so:

net use * \\XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX\share_name
