Hey folks,

Am debating on wether to go with 1 hdd or with 2 hdd (non raid). Was thinking a velociraptor 300 GB with a 500 GB hdd for storage. Or do I just go with a 1TB hdd for everything? Will I gain alot of performance with the Velociraptor or is it very minor and not worth the expense? Also, I am not interested in a SSD at this time.

This will be used in a i7 920 rig with Asus Rampage II Extreme mobo,

Thanks, Rax

You will notice the performance increase with a Velociraptor, and I would recommend a large WD Black drive to hold your data due to its higher quality standards and superior warranty to the Blue and Green drives.
