Hello guys,
I am attempting my first overclock (following various guides including Graysky's here on Tom's) but can't get a POST, I'm not sure what I am doing wrong (probably lots).
Stock data:
Q6600 @ 2.4 @ 1.26250v
Gigabyte- EP45-DQ6 mobo
Corsair XMS-2 PC2 6400 @ 5-5-5-18, 1.9v

What I am trying to acheive:
Q6600 @ 3.0

What I have done so far:
CPU multiplier X9
CPU host frequency= 333
PCIe frequency= set at 100
CPUvCore= have tried upto 1.35000
DRAM voltage= 1.940v (1.8v normal)
MemFrequency (it says 800-1000 I am unable to change this?)

All else is on auto.

It doesn't post/boot until bios resets to default settings. What am I not doing? What is probably the main reason for no POST?
Please be gentle, I am learning slowly and have read alot of guides, posts on other forums etc, but need some guidance from you clever people. Please let me know any other info you need, I have written everything I have done up to now, down on paper so can tell you exactly.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok scratch that, I seem to have cracked it. Worked out what everything means. Now running at 3.4gHz, idles of 45, loads of 55.
