In my opinion the E8500 is no bargain.  You get the same performance for alot cheaper with the E8400.  And the beauty with the E8400 is that you can bump it to 3.6GHz just by moving up the FSB to (8x400=3.6GHz) wich makes that cpu a steal at that price.  You don't have to mess with upping your voltage when you do that so no added heat, and it takes all of a few minutes to do.

Also that Xigmatek is a bargain at that price not to mention the rebate.  Make sure you get that retention bracket kit also or else you will have a bear of a time installing it, and it won't hold that good with the flimsy push pin system it comes with.  The MX-2 thermal compound not only brings your cpu temps down more than Arctic Silver 5, but it has no set up time (curring time), it's non conductive, and it last for years.

Cosmos S and Cosmos RC1000 is mostly a choice between cooling and quiet.

Cosmos S
Has a 3 120mm fans uptop and a large side fan
touch sensitive buttons
Better cooling then the RC1000
a bit louder then the RC1000

Cosmos RC1000
Hold up to 6 HDD
Has 2 120mm fans uptop
Quieter then the Cosmos S
adaqute but not uber cooling like the cosmos S
