Run a blended test Prime 95 for a few hours and run Real Temp in the background to log your temps.

Curious that you typed a multiplier of 13.5? Did you get an unlocked e5200? I couldn't open your link to the image.

Anyways. on one of my systems, I run my e5200 12.5 X 266 bus speed to 3.32 Ghz core freq. But that's on a very basic cheap ECS G31 mainboard with no voltage control. It can go higher than that on a better mobo but you'll need something like Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 to help with the hotter temps.

ok i ran intelburntest v2.1 in maximum it it came out successful, this was my first attemp aswell. i am very surprised it did so well. How much further you reckon this baby can go? and max temp was 50C, on 22 environment temp.

Well I run Prime95 while using something like SpeedFan to monitor temps. I usually stress test for more than 10+ hrs. Also OCCT is a great program.

never had a multicore issue with prime95. You've got a single core in your Signature, perhaps the person who informed you of the purported issue pushed it too far and decided to blame the program. Ive used it to test an old pentium d 820 I had, my new Core 2 Duo, a few Phenoms my friends had, and one e4400 at a LAN party last saturday. Always ran multiple threads occupying every available clock cycle.

I got a mcnuggetofdeath one time. It was gooey inside. :(

But anyways, as he said, Prime95 does indeed scale up to however many threads your computer is capable of running. It didn't in the past, but an update to it somewhere along the way enabled this capability. Also, it now has a 64-bit version available for download!
