Unless your software is configured for quad core i would suggest buying an E7200 C2D and saving yourself a few quid, If you give it a mild overclock it will perform better than a quad core in most applications.

hey thanks for quick reply friend... i have just a few questions in mind that still bugging me.. about the lcd... which is the better choice for multimedia apps ( graphic designing, vid editing )??

22" Hanns-G HG216 HDMI 1680x1050
22" Viewsonic VA2226W 1680x1050

I chose 22" LG L226WTQ wide 1680x1050, it is the most expensive out of the 4 choices, but i think with my research, its the best out of the 4 lcds.. is that right? just nid some feedback on masterz..

I chose the PC HD3870 512ddr4 256bit dvi PCS out of the 5 choices.. i've read some article that hd3870 is good in terms of open gl apps.. just wondering if i make the right choices... and can u give me an alternate choice coz im currently on a budget right now...

choices:

PC HD2600XT 512ddr3 128bit =)
