I added a second hard drive but Windows hasn't assigned it a drive letter? How do I do that? My OS is on a 300GB Velociraptor, I added a 1TB Samsung Spinpoint f3 for storage but I'm lost on how to access it in windows. Drive management shows it as disk 1 and my V-Raptor as disk 0, C Drive .

You shouldve gotten a utility disk that will let you set up your drive to be used on your system. Boot from that disk and follow the menus. I havent personally used samsungs utility but Im sure they have one. If you didnt get a disk then you can usually download the utility and create a boot disk...

In disk management you will need to partition and then format the drive in order for it to be seen in My Computer. You don't need any 3rd party utility to do this. windows can do it just fine.

It was an OEM so it didn't come with one.
