Tom's recently posted a article that places almost every GPU in a hierarchy chart. Decent guideline for people when looking to upgrade their graphics card.

It is recommend upgrading your graphics card when the replacement card is at least three tiers higher.

I know this is kind of nitpicking, but they say that you probably shouldn't upgrade unless the new card is at least three tiers higher.

A very slight difference in wording, but a big difference in meaning, at least in my opinion.
