Multiplier

O.K. I upped the multiplier to 14.5 it was at 14 how do i tell if my mhz went up? i saw it said cpu at 2802.??? and after i put it up to 14.5 it read 2945.???? is that the same as going from the stock 2.8 up to 2.9?

Go for it man! You can always check the BIOS or the POST messaging to see what your clock speed is. Remember to always test for stability!

I have since gone up to 3.5Mhz. and ran 18hrs Small FFTs on Prime with no errors. I was soooooo happy. I am just running a little hotter than i would like. 58c to 60c load. I am using the Arctic 64 pro.

Thank you. I think i am going to leave it alone for a while and see how it does in some real world gaming. Should i do anything with my memory? 4 gigs Ocz DDR2 800 ?
