i just oc'ed my i7 920 system with the specs
Intel i7 920 d0
evga x58 e758 motherboard
6 gigs of ocz 1600 xmp ram
xigametek dark knight heat sink
i got the system to 4.2 ghz i have done a quick stress test but i will stress test it again Tomorrow morning for at least 3 hours
idle temps around 38
max temp was 76 according to real temp, 73 according to evga's e-leet software
im have never been to good with overclocking and this i7 stuff seems kinda confusing so i just need people to check my setting to see if i have any problems
should i change the QPI freq?
would it be worth it to try to get my ram to 1866?
are my settings okay?
how high can the vreg temp go? i have seen it hit 85
