Restore to factory settings

how do i restore my hp compaq nx9010 to factory settings i have no cd to remaster and when i press f11 nothing happens if its not possible how do i delete all traces of VLC audio and media files from my pc because thats what is causing me problems im really frustrated by it all because im new to this and just want to watch and download dvds to watch with my daughter that has sound

If you want to uninstall VLC media player just go to Add/Rmove programs and unistall it.

If you don't have the restore disks, you can probably get them if you contact HP.
