Is it bad for wires to touch North Bridge?

I have a really tiny case, so cable management is very difficult. However, all of my temperatures seem fine, except possibly my North Bridge. It seems to be idling in the mid 40s. Is this too hot? Also I noticed that a few wires are touching my North Bridge. Is that bad?

Don't worry about idle temperatures, it is the load temperatures that you need to be concerned with. If the north bridge can be touched without burning your finger, then a wire touching it should be ok. Still, why not do the work and get it right?

North bridges usually do run hot. It's not bad if the wires are touching it unless it gets really hot during load and melts the wire sleeves. Then if bare wire touches it ur gonna have serious problems.
