Read your manual and double check the 24pin power and the 4pin cpu power connections.

Sounds like the 4 pin is missing to me.

+1 for roadrunner because that sounds like your problem.

Did you properly install the motherboard in your case use standoffs and only have standoffs where you have screws? If you have one under the board it will short it out and also cause the issue you are having.

Try a different PSU.

the only thing on my motherboard is on securely, and the only thing that doesn't have a screw is a nob coming from the case that fits into into a hole near the cpu..

DId you use standoffs (the little brass things that screw into the case)?

yes the little post that go into the case, then i screwed all of them in.

And you only have them where there are screws and did not accidentally put in an extra one under the motherboard?

Take your PSU to your local computer store (not best buy- a mom and pop or chain custom build shop) and have them test your PSU with a PSU tester. I have a feeling since you have been through two motherboards your PSU is having issues.

ok thanks for all the help. atlease i know i did all i can, and im frustrated out of my mind, trying to get this stupid thing to work. i was debating now if i should bring it to a store canadacomputers to get them to do what ever they need to do to fix it.. it will cost $30:S:(

Reply to WO0Z13

$30 is not a high price of piece of mind the computer will work. Many shops also give a 90 day warranty on repairs they make which gives you some insurance.
