Hey guys, I'm not sure if I need to change some configurations or just upgrade my sound card?
I have a Realtek High Definition Audio that came standard with my computer from bestbuy. I have upgraded about everything in my computer except the sound card, because honestly I didn't think they did that much.
Anyways, Yesterday I put in new speakers. I use an Aux -> AUV adapater from my output 3.5mm socket to a reciever which then puts it into the speakers. I noticed that music would get choppy every 20-30 seconds for approx 3 seconds or so. I then plugged back in my old speakers and it was choppy too. I had never noticed this before on my default speakers. I did change some settings to make it less choppy on my speakers, so maybe I messed something up. I pretty much just turned down the sound quality for my computer.
Would I need to get a new sound card/or does anyone know how to fix this problem?
