Get rid of the 9800GTX it is a terrible value for the money. Unless you meet the condition I give below.

Ditch the buggy, craptacular nVidia chipset motherboard and look at solid Intel chipsets.

P45 is a great chipset, overclocks well, and lacks the issue of nVidia boards.

Look the new ATI Radeon 4850. It performs VERY well, even beating 260 in some cases at half the cost.

If you are running at resolutions of 1920x1200+ the GX2 becomes a better value in the $400 range. Still go with the Intel chipset motherboard though.

Good boards:

MSI P45 Neo-3R
Asus P5Q Pro

Get the $7 bracket that goes with the cooler you picked. Vastly better solution than pushpins.

Thanks shadowduck could you possibly put the links up to the MSI P45 idk which one it is and should I crossfire the Radeon 4850's? Also is there a good set of 8g ram that you suggest? Thanks again.

MSI board:

If you are running at resolutions above 1920x1200 yes. Otherwise no. Same rules apply as SLI on where you use dual video cards.

For Crossfire look at Asus P5E x38 or Gigabyte GA-EX38-DS4

What about using this MB?
ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard

Great board, but expensive and really does not do anything spectacular.

If you have the cash go for it though.

So this build will out perform my other build? Do all the components fit together? Is case big enough? PSU strong enough?

Reply to will5496

tbh, never heard of that brand's psu. I would go with Enermax, Thermaltake, Pc Power, Antec. Everything else looks good.
