Hi all hope u are fine
What is a good P45 board for $100-$200 price range? i was looking at ASUS P5Q-E but i have heard the BIOSTAR TPOWER I45 is a good choice, what do u say? any other recommendations
thanks alot
If it's good, I don't know. Is it the only Micro form factor P45 I know of, yes. No onboard video, yes it has no onboard video 8). Micro build Xfire capable, oh hell yes!
MSI P45 Platinum is 45nm ready,
wil fit DDR2-1200, ICH10R, 8 SATA, eSATA, 1394a, SPDIF, 8 x USB 2.0, 2 x PCI Express 2.0 and FSB can be jumped to 1666 (1333 native), excellent cooling of chipset en MOSFET.
I am happy with it, running a simple E8400.
I have an Asus P5Q deluxe and it is a very nice baord is very stable and runs very cool.
Also Express gate is a cool feature of the Asus boards. It's a linux kernal that allows you to surf the web download patches updates access files etc. even if your operating system is fried. It also allows you to copy file to and from a usb stick.
Ok thanks,i will go for ASUS P5Q board but dont know which one, P5Q DELUXE, P5Q PRO or P5Q-E,if they are like their P35 brothers then i think the P5Q-E is the best bang for buck.
