Hello All,
Am new to this forum, actually registering on lot of forums to get some idea about my PC.

I have a Lenovo M57 6066 thinkcenter, its specs are:
core 2 duo 2.33 GHZ
Q35 chipset
280 watt PSU
1 GB 667 MHZ RAM

Need to know if I can run Nvidia 8600GT 512MB DDR3 without any problems on this system.
I desperatly need to upgrade my Video.

You might be able to. You will have to try and see. 280 watt power supply is pretty basic.

Theortically, there is risk in running this config.
As all 860 GT's minimum requirment is 300 Watts.
Incase if anything goes wrong, will the mobo be damaged, or r the chances of PSU gettin damaged r more.
Also where cud i get a compatible PSU of 450 - 550 watts for this PC.

try the Silverstone ST50EF-Plus PSU.... Toms used that for their last (2007) $500 gaming build. its cost around $100 back then, should be cheaper now.
