Alright, I've been lurking around the forums for a while and finally decided to post up my up in coming build to see what everyone thinks.

Mother board:
ASUS P5K-E ATX

Looks really good! I'd wait a few more weeks, the 4850 is out and 4870 and 4870x2 are close behind, get one of those or at least wait for them to push prices down.

Change the video card to AMD 4850. Close to or beats 9800GTX requires less power and is only single slot. Costs $189 CAD which is $71 less.

Move to a P45 chipset board. P35 is on the way out.

Look at MSI Neo-3R or Asus P5Q.

That build sucks. Congratulations, you've managed to pick out the worst possible components on the market today. Don't even bother trying to change the list; nothing you do will ever amount to anything...

No way should anyone buy a card that runs at 76 C!!! You'll set your pc on fire. Better to have the dual slot cooling. Just wait for the 9800GTX+. Cheaper (230 in US, not sure about Canada) than current 9800GTX's, and you'll benefit from the faster clock speeds and dual slot cooling.
