Hi!
I would like to know how the Palm charger actually works. I suppose
all the 'brains' is in the Palm device not the charger itself.
Charging new Tungsten W device takes about 2 hours (the led goes
green). I have measured that the battery voltage at that point is
4.10-4.20V. Is the battery really fully charged at that time?
I know that the Lithium-Ion cells are charged to ~4,2V and after that
the charging current is reduced to maintain the desired float
voltage. When the current is ~50mA the battery is full. Does this
happen before the green light is shown or do I have to charge even
longer time?
