Will 9600GT work with my PSU?

Hey, I have a 400W PSU with +12V1 rail of 14A. I've heard the 9600GT takes 26A. So, if I use the double molex to pci-e power connector, will I get 28A combined?

Also, when I used a PSU calculator, it told me that the maximum amperage on the +12V1 while gaming would be 13.4 or something, far short of the 26A that the 9600GT requires.

Will I have to use one molex from each string, because I'm pretty sure if I use the same string for both molex's, I'll only get 14W?

My only other molex device is a DVD-ROM Drive.

Thanks in advance!

Depending on what you have in the rest of your system, that PSU might be ok.
Just to let you know that PSU is the bottom of the line.
So your prolly at it's limit right now.

Yeah, I think it's a 385W continuous, with a 400W max. Not sure, though.

So, can anyone answer my rail question? If I use both the molexes, will I get a combined output of 28A? It always worries me when one person tells me it won't work, despite ten others telling me it will, mainly because I worry too much.

According to a chart on Tom's, a normal computer was only using like 261W while gaming with the 9600GT. I know wattage doesn't really matter compared to amperage, but that's something, right?

(Sorry for the double post)

I did some more research about power supplies, and I found out that the 26A rating was for the +12V1 AND the +12V2. I've got 27A combined, so my PSU should be fine. That's ignoring the fact that the 9600GT will never draw that much power anyways.
